Matt Fraliex Staff Photo

I graduated with distinction from Caldwell County High School in 2007. I attended Murray State University from 2007-2009 on a basketball scholarship, while pursuing a degree in Health and Physical Education. I transferred to play at Mid-Continent University in Mayfield from 2009-2012, and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education.

I very am excited about returning to the bluegrass of Kentucky. I have been teaching in Tennessee for the last 4 years, teaching Math and Science in 5th grade for 2 years and 4th grade for 2 years.

Hello witches, wizards, muggles and no-maj's. My name is Matt Fraliex and I am very excited to be your child's 6th grade math teacher this year. I am originally from Fredonia, Kentucky (located in Caldwell County), but I now live in Clarksville, Tennessee. My wife, Tamara, is a nurse at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. We are the proud parents of two beautiful children: Aiden Matthew, who will be 4 on December 31st, and Rylee Grace, who turned 1 on August 25th. In my spare time I enjoy being with my family, playing basketball, softball, and wiffleball, hunting, fishing, acting/theater, and reading (especially Harry Potter).
