I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Middle Tennessee State University in 1999.  Followed by my Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education from Murray State University in 2012.

I taught kindergarten for seven years in Nashville, Tennessee before moving to Kentucky.  Following the move, I began working with First Steps Early Intervention Program as a Developmental Interventionist.  As a DI, I worked with children from birth -age 3 with developmental delays.  I  began working at Millbrooke in 2009 teaching preschool children with and without disabilities.  I have been teaching Kindergarten for several years now and this year will mark my 11th year teaching at Millbrooke.

I am originally from Nashville, Tennesee.  My family moved to Kentucky 9 years ago because of my hubby's job.  Hopkinsville has grown on me and I have met so many wonderful people while living here.   Besides my husband, I have 2 boys who keep me very busy when I'm not working! Will is 13 years old and Jayden is 9 years old and is in the 4th grade here at Millbrooke!  We are animal lovers and have 2 dogs and 2 cats.

In my spare time, I love to read, shop, hike, and play ball with my boys.  I am a big Chicago Cubs fan! I love to watch baseball!  A new activity my family has taken on is learning how to kayak.  We are also active members at Christ Community Church.
