I am a Caldwell County native and graduated as Salutatorian in 2006. I then went on and attended Hopkinsville Community college for 2 years and obtained two degrees. I earned an Associates of Arts and an Associate of Applied Science. From there I went on to graduate from Murray State University in 2010 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. In August of 2015 I obtained my Masters Degree from Murray State in the field of School Counseling. In May 2019 I will have my Rank 1 in School Counseling as an Educational Specialist.

I have always loved the field of education. From the time I was in 3rd grade I knew that I wanted to be a teacher. After graduating high school I attended HCC and Murray State University. I completed my student teaching at Lyon County Elementary. I graduated college in May 2010 and have worked at Millbrooke since July of 2010. I taught Math, Science, and Social Studies my first year and after that I switched to the reading side of things. I now teach reading, writing, language, spelling, science, and social studies
